Dr. Brackney grew up in Carroll County, Maryland.  She attended Bryan College in Dayton, TN, where she majored in Biology and earned minors in Music and Biblical Studies.  She then returned to her home state, where she attended medical school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore.  During her third year of medical school, she discovered a love for Women's Health.

 After completing medical school, she began residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Penn State Hershey.  She graduated from residency in 2010 and chose to stay with the Penn State Women's Health group.  She joined the Camp Hill practice in August 2010. 

 Dr. Brackney is a Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.  She is an Active Candidate for Board Certification.  She also serves as a member of the Hershey Medical Center's Hospital Ethics Committee and enjoys caring for a wide variety of patients in the office, on Labor & Delivery, and in the Operating Room.
