About Me

Alexandra Horwitz, MD, received her undergraduate degree in biology from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa., and completed medical school at Temple University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed her internal medicine-pediatric residency at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Dr. Horwitz then completed her fellowship in allergy and immunology at the AI duPont Children's Hospital/Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. She worked as an allergy-immunology physician in a private practice in State College, Pa., before joining the faculty at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She is currently assistant professor of pediatrics and medicine. Dr. Horwitz is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, as well as a member of the Pennsylvania Allergy and Asthma Association.
