Biographical Information

Abdul Waheed, M.D., was born and raised in a rural area of Lahore, a district on the Eastern border of Pakistan, where he attended Government College University Lahore and developed an interest in fictional literature and poetry. Dr. Waheed still writes poetry in Urdu language and is a published author. He attended Aga Khan University in Karachi and worked as a general medicine officer in Lahore after graduating. With an interest in research, Dr. Waheed has more than fifteen peer reviewed indexed publications.  At Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Dr. Waheed enjoys the diversity of thought, people, teaching, and learning.
