About Me

Dr. Werley trained at Cooper University Hospital, in Camden, NJ. She then began her career as an emergency physician at Crozer Chester Medical Center, in Upland, PA, where she also served as EMS Medical Director. She moved to the region in 2013, and joined as faculty in the Department of Emergency Medicine, later becoming the Associate Program Director for the residency. In July 2016, Dr. Werley became the Residency Program Director for the Emergency Medicine residency here at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Her interests include medical education and graduate medical education, including residency program administration. She is involved in several organizations nationally, serving on multiple education-related committees. She is also very active at the state level with Emergency Medicine, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania College of Emergency Physicians.
