Jarret Sell, M.D. was born in Maryland. He attended Duke University, where he studied Chemistry and ACC college basketball. Dr. Sell attended medical school at the University of Virginia, and did his Family Medicine residency in Phoenix, AZ, where he had the opportunity to practice Spanish and enjoy the outdoors in the Southwest.
Dr. Sell joined Penn State in 2011 after 8 years of practice in a small rural town in Southwestern Virginia, where he did outpatient, inpatient and nursing home care. In practice, Dr. Sell enjoys the full spectrum of Family Medicine without OB in downtown Harrisburg in a clinic with a large pediatric focus. He also has an interest in HIV care and is working to expand that part of his practice. Dr. Sell enjoys teaching and is particularly interested in working with the underserved. He teaches Family Medicine residents on the inpatient service and at the Nye's Road practice.
Dr. Sell was drawn to Pennsylvania to be closer to family. Most of his free time is spent with his wife and children and their many extracurricular activities, coaching soccer and baseball.
