Biographical Information

Dr. Imundo completed his training in general pediatrics at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System and Cohen Children’s Medical Center (formally Schneider Children’s Hospital) in 2008. He completed further training in pediatric cardiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Children’s Medical Center Dallas in 2011. He completed his fellowship training in pediatric cardiac electrophysiology at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in 2012.

Dr. Imundo joined the faculty at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in 2012 and currently holds an appointment as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. Dr. Imundo actively teaches first and second year medical students and actively teaches second and third year medical students, pediatric residents, cardiology fellows, and electrophysiology fellows. 

Dr. Imundo provides patient services in cardiac device implantation, electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures, and non-invasive electrophysiology clinic. He also dedicates a portion of his clinical time to general pediatric cardiology. Dr. Imundo has been appointed to leadership roles within the division of pediatric cardiology. He is currently director of didactics and co-director of morbidity and mortality for his division.  He is actively involved in multiple scholarly activities including recent publications and a book chapter in the field of pediatric electrophysiology.

Dr. Imundo is currently board certified in general pediatrics (American Board of Pediatrics), pediatric cardiology (American Board of Pediatrics), and pediatric cardiac electrophysiology (International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners). He is a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society, and a member of the Pediatric and Adult Congenital Electrophysiology Society.  Dr. Imundo is a Certified Electrophysiology Specialist by the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners.
