Specimen Preparation (In house) Spin at the highest speed for 10 minutes. Remove plasma to a plastic tube, using a plastic pipette. Spin again and pipette platelets poor plasma into 2 plastic screw capped vials. (0.5 ml of plasma for each aliquot). Freeze immediately at -70 degrees.
Specimen Preparation (Outreach) Not available as an outreach test. Send patient to UPC and Cherry Drive laboratory for blood collection.
