The Office of Academic Placements is an integral component and extension of the education and community service core missions of Penn State Hershey. The goal of the Office is to provide student learning opportunities that allow for career explorations in allied health and the biomedical sciences. This goal is achieved through strategic partnerships with other organizations, to create focused, educational programs that improve individual health and well-being within local communities.

Lisa Abbott will join Penn State Hershey on June 3 as associate vice president for human resources for health affairs for Penn State and chief human resources officer for Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
