AgrAbility

Promoting Success in Agriculture for People with Disabilities and Their Families

AgrAbility for Pennsylvania is a partnership of Penn State Cooperative Extension Education, Easter Seals Central Pennsylvania, and the Pennsylvania Assistive Technology Foundation.  The project if funded through the US Department of Agriculture.  PA's AgrAbility coordinates services for farmers and farm families that allow them to remain in farming following a long term injury or health condition.  Services offered by AgrAbility include educational programs; advice on equipment modifications; evaluation of abilities to perform desired chores; identifying financial resources; and assisting contact with not-for-profit disability organizations.  The project may be found on the web at http://AgExtEd.cas.psu.edu/agrab
