Pink Zone at Penn State Raises Funds for Breast Cancer Research
The Penn State Lady Lion basketball team’s 2009 WBCA Pink Zone at Penn State fundraising campaign raised more than $33,000 for Pink Zone charities, including $16,000 for breast cancer research at Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute. Since Pink Zone began three years ago, more than $80,000 has been raised for breast cancer awareness.

The 2010 WBCA Pink Zone at Penn State will take place on Sunday, January 24 at 1 p.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center. Monies raised will benefit Mount Nittany Medical Center, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, the PA Breast Cancer Coalition, and the Kay Vow WBCA Cancer Fund.
