Membership Criteria
Applicants must hold a faculty appointment at the Penn State College of Medicine, Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute partner or affiliate institution.
Acceptance/Approval of a membership application is based on the following criteria:
- Major laboratory, clinical, or population research interest in cancer
- Peer-reviewed cancer research funding
- Publications on cancer-related subjects
- Desire for active collaboration with other PSHCI investigators
- Willingness to participate in PSHCI activities and committees
It is not mandatory for acceptance of initial membership application to meet all criteria; reasonable criteria are based on the nature of the application and determined by the Scientific Leadership Committee and respective Program Leader(s). Members will be reviewed on an annual basis to determine compliance with the above criteria.
