Be sure to tune in for the “RED Cares for Kids” Radiothon, February 5-7, 2010, on RED 102.3 FM, which will be broadcast live from Capital City Mall, Camp Hill. Then on February 19-21, 2010, the “I Care for Kids” Radiothon, on The Big I 105 FM, will be broadcast live from Lancaster Harley-Davidson/Buell, Willow Street. Throughout both Radiothons you will hear miraculous stories from children and their families about how their lives were touched by the world-class pediatric care offered at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.
In 2009, the “RED Cares for Kids” Radiothon provided the funding for a mini C-arm machine for Children’s Hospital. This state-of-the-art machine will serve as a small, portable x-ray machine and allow Children's Hospital staff to have the best quality and most immediate images available of children's broken bones. The “I Care for Kids” Radiothon raised funds to purchase three vital ventilation systems for Children’s Hospital. These state-of-the-art devices will be used by children of all ages with a variety of breathing difficulties.
Please join us in celebrating another year of miracles.
