Bioinformatics

Illumina Arrays are processed through GenomeStudio software and files are exported for import into Agilent Genespring software for more comprehensive analysis.

Following normalization, filtering and clustering of the data, preliminary results are exported and researchers are provided with gene-lists of comparisons of interest. Additional, more intensive, analysis may be provided at additional cost.

The Department of Public Health Sciences is also available for assistance in bioinformatics related to microarray analysis.

Ingenuity Pathway Analysis software is available for the analysis of genomic, transcriptomic and proteomic data.
