Welcome to Penn State Clinical Research Training Program
The NIH Sponsored Penn State K30 Program ended May 31, 2010. Penn State is applying for a Clinical and Translational Science Award which is the program that the NIH has put into place to replace the K30 programs nationwide. The Penn State application will be made in October, 2010, with notification expected in March, 2011. Penn State Hershey is constructing an interim Clinical Research Training Program and details are expected by September, 2010.
Thus, a formal program of clinical research is not presently available. However, interested individuals may register for courses related to clinical research as a non-degree student, or apply to enter a Master of Science or Certificate program in Public Health Sciences (please see http://www.pennstatehershey.org/web/phs/programs for details). All options require completing the graduate school application found at http://gradsch.psu.edu/portal/.
