Description:
Penn state Milton S. Hershey Medical Center researchers are studying concussions in teenage athletes.
As part of this study, teenagers 12-18 years old who have had a concussion within seven days may be eligible to participate.
Eligibility:
Who may participate?
Boys or girls age 12-18 without learning disabilities, ADD or ADHD, who have had a mild concussion within seven days.
Additional Study Details:
What is required?
- Tests including memory and attention
- A brain MRI
- Follow up visit after 2 months
Compensation is provided.
