Have dry eye syndrome? (IRB# 33794)

Description:

Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center researchers are studying whether supplementation with oral omega-3 fatty acids is effective in the treatment of dry eye syndrome.

 

Eligibility:

Volunteers who have been recently diagnosed with dry eye syndrome may be eligible to take part.

 

Additional Study Details:

What is required?

  • Attend one clinic visit forty-five days after baseline visit (which is part of standard of care)
  • Take study medication/placebo four times per day for forty-five days
  • Answer a questionnaire at both visits
