Student Research Opportunities

Internship Programs

Penn State provides a variety of opportunities for students (high school, undergraduate, graduate, and professional) to become involved in clinical and laboratory research on diabetes and obesity. Research faculty (investigators) are located at both the University Park and Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center campuses. Below is a listing of specific internship programs for students:

Student Researcher Database

If you are a student interested in a research experience that is not necessarily associated with an internship program, complete the form below. The information you provide will be shared with our faculty (investigators) who are studying a variety of aspects of diabetes and obesity. Depending on the project and the faculty member’s needs, students may work as volunteers, earn credit towards their degrees, or be paid wages (including work-study).

Note:  We do not guarantee that by filling out this form you will be placed in an investigator’s lab/research program.   It is up to the faculty members to contact you directly, if they are interested having you assist in their lab/research program. If you have any questions contact Kathy Peters, MS.
