ADULT EATING DISORDERS OUTPATIENT SERVICES

The outpatient clinic meets daily to provide medical evaluation/management, nutritional management, and therapy (individual, group, or family) for adult patients. Psychiatric evaluation and treatment are also provided. Patients are seen on an ongoing basis for treatment until recovery is achieved.

We would like to announce the formation of two out-patient therapy groups for our patients with eating disorders.  Group therapy can be a very helpful part of treatment and recovery.

EATING DISORDERS INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT AND DAY TREATMENT/PARTIAL PROGRAM

The Intensive Outpatient Program provides a structure of three group sessions a week, (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. These group sessions include a group meal, psycho-educational groups, and psycho dynamically oriented group therapy. In addition to weekly group sessions, each patient receives regular medical evaluations to assess progress.

The Day Partial Program provides a more intensive structure for group therapy meeting five days a week (Monday - Thursday 12:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Friday 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.) These groups include two meals a day, as well as psycho-educational and psychodynamically oriented group therapy. A personalized treatment plan, including individual, family and group therapy, is designed to address each client's specific needs and goals. Psychiatric evaluation and medication are available, as well as regular medical evaluation to assess progress.
