Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center has the distinction of being both one of the oldest and one of the newest residencies in Emergency Medicine.  It was one of the first programs back in the late 70's when this was an 18,000 volume ED in a sleepy little central Pennsylvania town.  It was part of a joint program with York Hospital from the mid-90's until 2004.  And in 2004, the first class of interns was recruited for a new independent program in Emergency Medicine.  More...
