Medical Student Elective

This course is designed to provide a broad experience in Ophthalmology for any student, regardless of her/his future career goals. Students will spend time with all faculty members as well as some residents.

The course goal is for students to understand the diagnosis, pathogenesis, and management of a variety of ophthalmic disorders, as well as become proficient in the use of a direct ophthalmoscope. Depending on the student's goals, the rotation schedule can be modified to accommodate specific interests.
