As weather conditions related to Hurricane Sandy continue to improve in our region, Penn State Hershey is standing down its Emergency Operations Center and is resuming normal operations. Medical Group practice sites and College of Medicine classes will return to normal schedules beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 31.

A walk-in clinic for non-urgent needs is open today at the Internal Medicine clinic at 35 Hope Drive, East Campus until 4:30 p.m. Patients wishing to be seen at the urgent care clinic do not need to call ahead for an appointment.

Penn State Hershey Medical Group practice sites are closed today, Tuesday, October 30, except for the Internal Medicine clinic at 35 Hope Drive, East Campus. Penn State Hershey Medical Group closures

Due to the severe weather related to Hurricane Sandy, all Penn State Hershey Medical Group sites, except for those located in State College, are closed for the remainder of today, October 29, and will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, October 30.

Canceled appointments will be rescheduled as soon as normal operations are able to resume following the storm, expected to be on Wednesday, October 31.

State College Medical Group sites will remain open today until 5 p.m. but will be closed tomorrow.

College of Medicine classes will be cancelled for Tuesday, October 30, 2012 due to the effects of Hurricane Sandy. The campus will remain open. College of Medicine staff should report to work as scheduled. Non-essential staff who intend to take the day off should make arrangements with their manager.
