The Office of Technology Development serves the Penn State Hershey College of Medicine and Penn State Hershey Medical Center, and the scientific and business communities by:

• Facilitating translation of creative work into new products and processes

• Enabling constructive, responsible exchange of materials and ideas with outside partners

• Assisting with access to COM and HMC expertise

We work closely with other research mission offices, including Research Affairs, Research Development and Clinical Trials, and with Penn State Technology Transfer including the Intellectual Property, Industrial Research and Research Commercialization offices.
