Penn State Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Center is a nationally-recognized facility dedicated solely to the diagnosis, treatment, and eventual cure of patients suffering with inflammatory bowel diseases, including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Penn State IBD Center provides a multi-specialty approach to the best care for this disease. The center is organized and staffed with dedicated IBD medical experts from multiple specialties, all highly-trained and well experienced. This multi-specialty approach enables the Penn State IBD Center to offer multiple concurrent services in a single setting.

ImproveCareNow is a network of more than sixty hospitals in the United States whose Pediatric Gastroenterology Divisions have joined together to collaborate on a project to improve the quality of care in pediatric inflammatory bowel disease. Penn State Children's Hospital has been a part of ImproveCareNow since 2012. Our participation in this network provides us with information and resources to further improve the health of our pediatric patients who suffer from Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
