Penn State Hershey IBD Center provides a multi-specialty approach to the best care for this disease. The center is organized and staffed with dedicated IBD medical experts from multiple specialties, all highly-trained and well experienced. ImproveCareNow is a network of more than sixty hospitals in the United States whose Pediatric Gastroenterology Divisions have joined together to collaborate on a project to improve the quality of care in pediatric inflammatory bowel disease. Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital has been a part of ImproveCareNow since 2012. Our participation in this network provides us with information and resources to further improve the health of our pediatric patients who suffer from Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
