Penn State Hershey enables access to the Microsoft Exchange system from the Citrix WorxMail email and calendar applications on personally-owned mobile devices. By opting in to this service, the authorized user trades some control over his/her personal device in exchange for access to Penn State Hershey resources (email), including the possibility of having the device reset to a factory-default state. It is important that the consequences and obligations of this arrangement are well-understood.
Reporting a Lost Device
If your personally owned mobile device was used to access Penn State Hershey systems, you must call the IT Technical Support Center at 717-531-6281 immediately, prior to cancelling service with your carrier. The Information Technology Department will initiate a device reset to erase Penn State Hershey information from the device.
