Pay to Print
A Pay to Print system is installed in the Harrell Library and in the 24-hour access Computer Media Lab on the second floor of the Library.
Print jobs can be sent to the Pay to Print printers from all library computers. The print jobs stack up in a print queue until the user releases them at a Print Release Station located by the printers.
- Users log onto any Release Station
- Select the jobs to print
- Insert a copy card
- The cost of the print job is deducted from the value of the copy card
Copy cards (for printing and copying) can be purchased at the circulation desk. There are blank cards available for $.70 or $5.00 cards that come preloaded with $4.30 (minus $.70 for the card) equaling 86 prints or copies. Copy cards can be recharged at one of the coin towers located on the first floor library and the second floor 24 hour computer lab. The circulation desk will also recharge copy cards in 5.00 increments.
The fee for each page side printed is 5 cents so a double sided page would be 10 cents.
There is 1 printer in the 24 hour Computer Lab on the second floor of the library as well as 4 on the first floor of the library.
A Color printer has been added on the first floor. Color print jobs can be sent from any Library or PBL study room computer, however, the print release stations adjacent to the color printer on the first floor must be used to send the job to the color printer. The cost is 21 cents.
