Selected applicants will be invited to interview. There are usually four interview dates per year (Dec-Feb). Ten to twelve applicants are invited to participate in each interview date. Our interview visit takes place over a day and a half. Applicants arrive on Sunday, meet with current MD/PhD students, and take a tour of Hershey. Accommodations are provided at a local hotel. Students can also choose to stay with a student in the program. A dinner at a local restaurant with MD/PhD students is provided on Sunday evening. On Monday, there are opportunities to meet with the Program Directors, learn about the program, tour the campus, in addition to interviewing individually with three faculty members.

Accepted applicants will receive an invitation to attend our Second Look Day which is held in April to bring their families and come back to visit Hershey and our campus for another look at our medical school and community.  Arrival is usually planned for Thursday evening. Applicants will have a chance to meet with faculty for potential lab rotations on Friday by planning a schedule with the program office.  On Saturday, applicants spend the day with other medical applicants and students meeting faculty, attending mini classes, and taking tours of the campus which is arranged by our medical students.  It is a very relaxing time to come back and take another look at what we have to offer.
