Express Admissions Unit

The mission of the Express Admissions Unit is to promote a culture of patient safety by providing a safe and effective patient care area for admitted patients when bed availability is challenging. This unit is utilized to decrease the time between the hour of the bed request and the hour the patient is placed in a bed. Additionally, the staff of the Express Admissions unit provide enhanced patient throughput throughout the hospital by assisting with the admission and discharge process on other units.
