Pediatric Acute Care
We are proud of our tremendous team of registered nurses, physicians, child life specialists, social workers, clinical nurse specialists, nutritionist, pharmacists, therapists, family-centered care coordinators and teachers to ensure optimal care for our patients.
We work with 19 different services and see patients from newborn through young adult. Services include but are not limited to:

We are a Pediatric Acute Care unit with 18 medical surgical beds; emphasizing Patient and Family Centered Care.
Our nurse to patient ratio is 1:3-4.
Self-scheduling is available with a variety of shifts. Nurses work with the scheduling committee and Nurse Manager to develop schedules that meet personal and professional needs.
Our training and orientation consist of 14-16 weeks dependent upon prior experience. Staff are paired with 2 preceptors during their orientation.
Applicants must have a strong desire to care for children and their families. Experience in Pediatric or Oncology nursing is desired, but not required.
