Same Day Unit

The Same Day Admissions Unit (SDU) offers safe and efficient outpatient surgical care for patients who do not require a long hospital stay. These patients have the benefit of recuperating from their procedure in the comfort of their own homes. Patients also have the added dimension of highly trained staff and state-of-the-art equipment readily available if the need for additional observation should arise.

"The SDU offers staff the opportunity to care across the continuum of the peri-operative spectrum, both pre-operatively and post-operatively. Patients and families are able to experience specialized care in a setting that provides care to all."  -Christine, Manager

"I really enjoy the diverse population of patients. We pack a whole bunch of education and individual care in a short window of time, which keeps each day different.” - Bethany, RN
