2010 Distinguished Educator Award - Call for Nominations
Deadline for nominations is November 9, 2009
Nominations are being accepted for the Distinguished Educator Award program, now in its eighth year.We hope that you will give thoughtful consideration towards nominating deserving colleagues for this honor.
Nominations are to be received in the office of Dr. Luanne Thorndyke, Associate Dean for Professional Development.
Deadline for submission of nominations is October 16, 2009
The Evan Pugh Professorship is the highest distinction that the University can bestow upon a faculty member.Nominations are addressed to Dean Paz, and the nominating materials should be delivered to the Office of Professional Development, MC-H117 or C1602.

Nominations of women and minorities is encouraged. The Evan Pugh Professors will be selected without regard to college affiliation, program, or location. Nominees may hold an endowed chair, professorship, or faculty fellowship while holding the Evan Pugh Professorship.
President’s Award for Excellence in Academic Integration – Call for Nominations

A call has gone out for nominations for the 2010 President’s Award for Excellence in Academic Integration.The award honors those faculty members who have exhibited extraordinary achievement in the integration of teaching and research of creative accomplishments and service.It carries a cash gift of $3,000.The 2010 recipient will be recognized at the Faculty/Staff Awards Luncheon onMonday, April 12, 2010.

The Greenwall Faculty Scholars Program in Bioethics is a career development award to enable junior faculty members to carry out original research on policy and clinical dilemmas at the intersection of ethics and the life sciences
Three Greenwall Faculty Scholars will receive 50% salary support for 3 years.
