Evan Pugh Professorships
The highest distinction that the University can bestow upon a faculty member; requests for nominations are circulated in August, with nominations due to the Dean of the College in October.

Faculty Scholar Medal
An award for excellence in scholarship, research, and the arts honoring those faculty who have excelled in creative work in one of five areas; nominations open in September with a deadline of December 2.

Several awards recognize achievements by faculty and staff of the University; nominations due by December 1.

Graduate School Faculty Awards
The Graduate School makes three awards annually to recognize faculty for outstanding contributions to graduate education (for more information click on each award); nominations are due each year by November 1.
Penn State Award for Faculty Outreach
To recognize faculty who make significant contributions to Outreach; nominations due in December.
The President's Award for Excellence in Academic Integration
Given to a faculty member who has exhibited extraordinary achievement in the integration of teaching, research or creative accomplishments and service; nominations are due in the Office of Professional Development by December 15.
Twenty-Five Year Service Award Program
To recognize faculty and staff members who have given long service to the University with the award of an official Penn State captain's chair or rocking chair.
