Our services include the entire spectrum of adult and pediatric bone and joint disorders, including upper and lower extremity arthritis, foot and ankle problems, fracture care, hand and upper extremity surgery, shoulder and elbow disease, musculoskeletal oncology and metabolic bone disease, sports medicine and adult and pediatric spinal disorders. Our physicians practice in the Bone and Joint Institute of the Penn State Hershey Medical Center, collaborating in patient care with on site radiologists, rheumatologists, podiatrists and chronic pain management specialists.

The Bone and Joint Institute also provides care at Penn State Orthopaedics located in State College, Pa.

In addition to serving as a referral source for referring primary care and orthopaedic physicians from throughout all of Pennsylvania, we are team physicians for the Hershey Bears and Harrisburg Senators, as well as all Penn State University varsity athletes.

Our clinicians collaborate with scientists in our Division of Musculoskeletal Sciences, one of the premier laboratories in the country, studying the science and treatment of bone and joint disease. Areas of investigation at present include arthritis, osteoporosis, mechanisms of cell signaling, fracture healing, implant design and biomechanics, musculoskeletal cancer, and gait abnormalities.

We are committed to not only providing the finest care to our patients and serving our referring physicians, but also advancing our field through scientific discovery and the education of the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons in our residency training program.
