About Penn State Orthopaedics (State College)
Penn State Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, part of the Penn State Hershey Bone and Joint Institute, is located in the Centre Medical Sciences Building at 1850 E. Park Avenue and has been providing orthopaedics, sports medicine, physiatry, and physical therapy services to the State College community and Penn State varsity athletes since 1992.
Whether you are a dedicated athlete, a weekend warrior, or an armchair quarterback, we have the medical professionals and facilities to evaluate and treat your condition. All of our physicians are board certified or board eligible, and we participate with most major insurance plans within the greater State College area.
Medical services are delivered in our convenient and modern facility adjacent to Mount Nittany Medical Center, and we are open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. every week day. In addition, our physical therapy department has extended hours for patient convenience.
Penn State Sports Medicine services all 29 sports teams at Penn State, as well as area high schools and the general public, providing a wide array of orthopaedic, sports medicine and physical therapy services.
