Comprehensive Medical Evaluation
All new patients will be evaluated by the attending physician or nurse practitioner. The evaluation includes:
- Comprehensive personal and family history
- Physical examination
- Lab tests
The purpose of this evaluation is to identify any underlying medical conditions and potential complications related to weight (such as elevated blood pressure, high cholesterol, insulin resistance, diabetes, fatty liver, or sleep apnea).
