Data and Dine
Data & Dine
“Data & Dine” is an annual event sponsored by the Office of Professional Development in conjunction with the Postdoctoral Steering Committee.
This event is an opportunity for postdoctoral fellows to showcase their research and interact with faculty in congenial surroundings at a local facility. Postdoctoral scholars and fellows have the opportunity to present posters describing their research. Faculty are invited to meet, interact and offer advice to the scholars and fellows.
The goals of Data & Dine are to:
• facilitate the exchange of scientific information
• stimulate collaborative efforts
• promote collegiality
• promote a network for opportunities and peer support
• facilitate professional development for beginning investigators
This event started in 2002 and has continued annually.
