Mandatory team-based learning program

The upcoming mandatory, team-based learning program, "Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training," has been endorsed by the research team and enthusiastically received by the Basic Science Chairs. 

All post-doctoral fellows and scholars will be required to participate in three sessions every year (January to March) dedicated to RCR training.  One session each year will cover the same two topics (Data Management, and Research Misconduct).  The other two sessions each year will alternate, collectively covering all the topics suggested by the NIH¹ (see attached Table). 

The first set of sessions will begin January 2014. Below are the dates and times for each of the three sessions and they will be held at the University Conference Center (UCC):

RCR Training – Collaborative Research and Mentoring

February 11, 2014

9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

RCR Training – Human Subjects and Animals in Research

March 11, 2014

9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
