Autism Disorder Clinic

The Penn State Autism Clinic

In recently establishing the Autism Service, Education, Research, and Training centers (ASERT), Pennsylvania's Department of Welfare created three regional centers for autism across PA, one of which is The Penn State Autism Clinic. This outpatient service is a division of Child Psychiatry. It trains residents to improve the quality of life for people living with autism spectrum disorders ranging from mild to severe. It is a cost-effective way to address the chasm between research and quality diagnostic and intervention practices.
