Autism Disorder Clinic

The Penn State Autism Clinic

In recently establishing the Autism Service, Education, Research, and Training centers (ASERT), Pennsylvania's Department of Welfare created three regional centers for autism across Pennsylvania, one of which is The Penn State Autism Clinic. This outpatient service, under the division of Child Psychiatry, is a cost-effective way to address the chasm between research and quality diagnostic and intervention practices. Residents in this rotation focus their training on improving the quality of life for people living with autism spectrum disorders ranging from mild to severe.
