About Us

Penn State College of Medicine is focused on fostering innovative research leading to new products and services benefiting society; building strong industry partnerships between our faculty and the business community; providing educational programming focused on entrepreneurship, innovation and commercialization; and contributing to the entrepreneurial ecosystem and economic development in the region.

The Office of Technology Development serves Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine and the scientific and business community to establish ourselves as a nationally recognized academic medical center for commercialization of translational research.

Our mission is to provide professional technology commercialization resources to the Penn State Hershey community to optimize the flow of innovation to the marketplace and generate revenue while positively impacting society.
