Welcome to Penn State Hershey Therapy Services
Penn State Hershey Therapy Services is committed to working with accredited schools and universities to educate future generations of therapists. Several of our therapists hold adjunct teaching positions at local colleges and universities. Many of our therapists are guest lecturers in classrooms across the commonwealth. Some serve on National Boards that are committed to the future state of healthcare for specific disabilities.
We have internship opportunities for Music Therapy Students, Occupational Therapy Students, Physical Therapy Students, and Speech/language pathology students. We also offer 2 day shadowing experiences to students who are in tenth grade and older. Finally many students choose to spend their summer volunteering in our department to gain experience and knowledge about a field they wish to enter.
We are also committed to community education and offer community speakers in areas such as athletic injury prevention, driver safety for aging adults, ergonomic safety, and joint protection.
