The sports medicine program at Penn State Hershey Medical Center is a proud leader in providing quality care to athletes with a wide range of sports-related injuries. The diverse team includes athletic trainers, physical therapists, strength and conditioning specialists, fellowship trained family practice sports medicine physicians, and board-certified sports medicine trained orthopedic surgeons. Together they provide comprehensive care for professional, college, high school, and recreational athletes.
No injury is too large or small. Weekend warriors receive the same dedicated care that is provided to the Hershey Bears and varsity high school athletes. From ankle sprains to concussions, tendinitis to ligament reconstruction, pre-operative to postoperative care, all are treated with the same goal in mind; return to activity as quickly and safely as possible.

The facility is also home to the Hydroworx 2000 pool for state-of-the-art aquatic exercise including an underwater treadmill.
