University Fitness Center - Specialty Class - Pilates
Pilates is a movement system designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body. Its systematic approach to specific exercises when combined with focused breathing patterns has proven beneficial for everyone, to a person rehabilitating from injury, fitness enthusiast, to professional athletes.
Participants can experience numerous benefits including increased strength and flexibility, particularly in the abdomen and low back muscles. Additional benefits include improvements in posture, balance, joint heaalth, as well as overall sense of well-being.
If classes aren't your thing or you can't make it to our schedules classes, the UFC offers one-on-one Pilates Personal Training for Matwork, Reformer, and small props.
