Pilates Matwork - Experienced

Options for Experienced Students

These classes are for those with some Pilates experience.  New students are encouraged to enroll in an Intro class prior to signing up for one of these classes.

In this low-impact system of exercise, emphasis is placed on breath, alignment, control, and form.  The Pilates method is a series of controlled movements, engaging body and mind for total body awareness.  This exercise method utilizes all muscle groups and is designed to stretch, strengthen, and improve the balance of the body.  Additional benefits include increased flexibility and improved posture, coordination, and function in activities of daily living.  Participants will leave class feeling relaxed yet invigorated.

*This class is appropriate for beginner or experienced Pilates students.

*There are currently no scheduled sessions for our Pilates group classes.
