University Fitness Center - Specialty Class - Strong Women

The StrongWomen program is an evidence-based strength training program that is safe and effective for midlife and older women. The benefits of the program include:

 

  • Increased muscle mass and strength
  • Improved bone density and reduced risk of osteoporosis and related fractures
  • Reduced risk of diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, depression, and obesity
  • Improved self-confidence
