University Fitness Center - Specialty Class - Strong Women

The StrongWomen program is an evidence-based strength training program that is safe and effective for midlife and older women. The benefits of the program include: 

  • Increased muscle mass and strength
  • Improved bone density and reduced risk of osteoporosis and related fractures
  • Reduced risk of diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, depression, and obesity
  • Improved self-confidence

*All sessions are 6-weeks in length unless stated otherwise.

**This program is being provided a the University Fitness Center as a service of the Dauphin County Penn State Cooperative Extension Office

  • 9:00 - 10:00 AM

If you are an experienced Strong Woman, please inquire about our "Booster" class that meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings. 

For New or Experienced Students:

  • April 22 - June 3 (No Class May 27)

  • July 29 - September 9 (No Class September 2)
