University Fitness Center - Employees & Volunteers Membership

Every new membership starts with an orientation where a fitness staff member introduces you to the facility, services, and policies. An introduction to our equipment and services, our goal with the orientation is to get you started on the right foot and help you to establish a basic workout plan.  This plan may include use of the facility and equipment, taking classes, and finding ways to be active outside of the facility-at home, at school, or at work.

Employees are defined as:

  • Full-time, part-time, and retired employees of Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Penn State College of Medicine, and Penn State University
  • Contract employees who work on the Penn State Hershey Medical Center Campus
  • Registered Penn State Hershey Medical Center volunteers
  • Penn State College of Medicine Medical and Graduate School Alumni (graduates of the College of Medicine and former Penn State Hershey Medical Center medical residents)

Spouses, significant others, and dependent children are also eligible for membership. Please see the UFC membership fee schedule for employee rates and payroll deduction information.
